Great location right in the center of town, located only 1-2 blocks from the bank, post office, doctors office, pharmacy, convenience store, and 3 churches. This was my parents home, which I recently inherited following the death of my mother in 2023. I currently live alone in the house, but Im ready for a change and a move to an area that will better fit my needs.Back half of house, which includes a large kitchendining area, was added in a renovation in 1984. Metal roof and other renovations were completed about 20 years ago.Parking for 1 car in the front, with a decent-sized back yard if you need more room for vehicles.The house has 2 full-size bedrooms, and 2 bathrooms. There are 4 closets 1 in each bedroom, 1 in the front bathroom, and 1 in the dining area. Large kitchendining area in the back of the house. Utility room with washer dryer. The water heater is almost new.Heating and cooling is by electric radiator type heaters and window AC units. The house does not have central air.The house is being sold as a fixer-upper, as-is. Due to PTSD and other personal concerns, I do not have an interest in attempting any further renovations myself. Photos will be added later. Because I am still living in the house, it will be some time before I can get everything cleared out for photos.Below is a complete list of known issues and necessary renovationsrepairs that should be considered before purchase. Most of these are not really serious issues. The house has been perfectly safe and livable for me, but it could definitely use some work.1. ROOF The facia boards need to be replaced. The metal roof itself is fine. A couple of gutter corner pieces are missing at the back of the house, and should also be replaced. Roof and siding needs to be pressure washed to bring the original color back.2. DECK on the north side of the house will need to be removed or replaced with a smaller one. It is in poor condition and crosses the property line onto my other lot.3. FRONT BATHROOM Corner shower will need to be redone due to issues from substandard cheap installation about 20 years ago. Sink has a minor leak that would be an easy fix.4. BACK BATHROOM Needs partial replacement of about 6 x 6 of floor and one adjoining section of the shower wall. The sinkcounter is too big for the space. Shower needs new handleknob.5. KITCHEN Small area of floor is weak and needs to be replaced, due to a leaky dishwasher years ago. Would also look better with new linoleum, but isnt absolutely necessary. Exhaust fan over the stove needs minor maintenance. 6. EXTERIOR Back storm door needs glass replaced. There is also a water pipe access cover on the back side of the house that needs some minor repairs and new siding.
